Senior Finance Manager, LHH India
Description
The Senior Finance Manager is the financial steward and commercial partner for LHH India, responsible for strengthening financial discipline, enabling informed commercial decisions and supporting the business to achieve its growth and performance ambitions. Working closely with the Country Manager and India Leadership Team, the role owns the India finance strategy, ensures robust planning, reporting and controls, and brings commercial rigor to forecasting, pricing, cost management and working capital.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a finance leader who can operate strategically with senior stakeholders while remaining close to the operational detail needed to improve processes, strengthen governance and scale a growing professional-services business.

In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
1. Strategic Finance Leadership & Business Partnering
- Develop and own the India finance strategy, aligned to the India business strategy and growth ambitions across CT&M, Advisory and HR Consulting practices.
- Act as trusted advisor to the Country Manager and finance business partner to the India Leadership Team, bringing financial insight to pricing, investment, practice mix, market expansion and other key commercial decisions.
- Champion operating discipline, cost management and commercial decision-making that helps unlock LHH India’s growth potential while maintaining strong financial controls.
- Build the financial operating rhythm of a scaling professional-services business, including clear margin visibility by practice, client and engagement.
- Represent India in APAC finance forums and functionally report to the VP Finance, LHH APAC on regional planning, reporting standards, compliance, consolidation, forecasts and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across LHH, Adecco Group, Global Functions and regional finance leaders, sharing best practice, harmonising processes and supporting cross-border client engagements.
- Build and mentor a lean, high-performing finance capability appropriate to the size and ambition of the India business.
2. Financial Planning, Performance Management & Reporting
• Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans for the India P&L, linking financial plans to business priorities, growth assumptions and operational capacity.
• Own monthly performance reporting, including P&L, variance analysis, margin bridges, leadership dashboards and clear commentary to support decisions and corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting to APAC and Group Finance, aligned with Adecco Group policies and IFRS/local GAAP requirements.
• Drive cost management across the business by identifying efficiency opportunities, tracking savings and embedding cost-conscious decision-making.
• Own utilization and delivery economics reporting, including coach utilization, billable capacity and coach-cost economics, to protect margin and operating leverage as the business grows.
3. Commercial Operations, Sales Forecasting & Working Capital
• Partner with Sales, Legal and Operations on complex commercial arrangements, pricing models, margin thresholds and contract terms to protect profitability, compliance and commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain sales planning, quota and forecasting cadences; report bookings, backlog, revenue conversion and win rates to leadership, including compensation and bonus plan modelling.
• Own the monthly billing and invoicing cycle for India in partnership with Adecco GBS and Group support teams, improving billing accuracy, data quality, process discipline and cycle times across approximately 200 customers and a high-volume coach engagement model.
• Resolve billing and collections escalations quickly, coordinating with India operations, GBS and Group support teams to remove root causes and strengthen operating discipline.
• Own receivables health and working-capital performance, including collections strategy, DSO management, ageing, bad-debt prevention, credit assessment, monthly reporting and corrective action plans.
4. Governance, Controls, APAC Collaboration & Finance Capability
• Ensure statutory, tax, audit and regulatory compliance for the India entity, working effectively with internal teams and external advisors.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment aligned to Adecco Group standards, including audit readiness, disciplined governance and clear ownership of key finance processes.
• Ensure revenue recognition practices remain compliant with Group accounting policies and contracted client terms, with appropriate review, documentation and escalation where required.
All About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, with CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification essential.
- Minimum 10 years’ finance experience, including at least 3 years in a finance leadership role.
- Strong grounding across controllership and FP&A, including financial reporting, internal controls, revenue recognition, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis and senior decision support.
- Experience in professional services, industrial, manufacturing or automotive industries preferred, with a track record partnering with sales organisations on forecasting, pricing, commercial decision support and performance management advantageous.
- Experience working within a global matrix environment, including shared services, regional reporting and Group finance lines; Indian conglomerate experience strongly preferred for its governance discipline, scale exposure and stakeholder complexity.
- High integrity, strong attention to detail and the maturity to navigate competing priorities, influence effectively and constructively challenge the business where required.
- Energised by building, improving and scaling a finance function, combining hands-on operating discipline with clear communication to senior stakeholders.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
